Important Dates

The Bend Volunteer Corps/ Notre Dame-AmeriCorps Team is currently accepting applications for the 2010-2011 service year, which begins on September 1, 2010 and ends on August 1, 2011.

Requirements

We invite applications from individuals who are over 21 and have work experience or a college education. A high school diploma is requred unless the applicant is enrolled in a GED programwhile serving, and compeltes his or her GED by the end of the year of service.

Aplicants should also posess:

    *    The willingness to spend a year in the service of others.
    *    Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    *    Ability to be flexible, adaptive, and work on a team.
    *    U.S. Citizenship or be a lawful permanent resident alien.
    *    Commitment to serve as a full-time volunteer for 11
          months (or 5 months as a 900 hour volunteer)

    Be sure to name your first, second, and third choice placements.
